2.5 Km Water Channel To Be Created at Hulayla Industrial Park
Work is progressing on the creation of a 2.5- kilometre long inward water channel which will provide direct water access to the Hulayla Industrial Park.
H.H. Sheikh Saud signed the AED 348 million contract with China Harbour Engineering Company LLC in 2008 to carry out marine works.
The proposed water channel would have a depth of 9 metres at the entrance and 7 metres along the main water body which would help ships to come close to the industrial park.
The Hulayla Industrial Park is located around 15 kilometer north of Ras Al Khaimah City and close to the Mina Saqr Port.
